The packaging laws for cannabis have been changed that need child-resistant, tamper-evident, resealable, biodegradable. As these requirements, the plastic material will be killed firstly like mylar bag, plastic tube, box or plastic accessories. There are some biodegradable plastic material like PLA, PHA…, but the character couldn’t support the child resistant structure. The other packaging like paper, glass and metal will replace the market of plastic packaging, tin box will be the winner because of the hard material, fully recycling material, resealable and reliable air tight space, exquisite appearance and cost-effective. Air tight child resistant tin Gen1 100x60x20mm: it’s hinged child resistant tin with metal holder to resist the hinged area, the lid will match a foam pad before new law. It needs a silicone gasket to keep fully recycling after releasing new law. Gen1 child resistant tin belongs to classical and traditional version, the unit cost is lower than the other airtight CR tins.
Air tight child proof tin Gen3 D76x25mm: it’s up-bottom child proof tin with silicone pieces on lid to keep air tight. The smoothly appearance matches the water-leaking proof air tight space that belongs to high-end market.
Air tight child resistant slide tin 96x60x14mm: it breaks the words that slide tin couldn’t be airtight. It applies negative direction for tin bottom that keep a flat area for heat sealing foil, so it could be disposable air tight version after tearing off foil. For heat sealing foil air tight, it could be applied all kinds of tin shape, but the structure should be changed to adapt child resistant lock. Just like rectangular tin should add a flat step for foil working, round tin could do foil directly because the opening method wouldn’t affect it.
Comparing the traditional or the original air tight structure, heat sealing foil will be a cheaper option if tin box packaging reaches on 100k because it needs to buy machine and labor working for this process. For traditional air tight child resistant tin, it will be more convenient because it could pack cannabis item directly ad than sell it that could save more time and working.
