The new infused chocolate clamshell was released in this year. Unlike the other packaging as tin box, paper box or mylar bag, clamshell or blister has more advantages like the lower cost, airtight, easily pack, lower MOQ and faster delivery time. For this child resistant clamshell, it completes the huge market for a cheaper, hard, lower MOQ and easily assembling packaging. Unlike the other packaging, clamshell couldn’t be printed, it needs to paste stickers on clamshell and this process could be finished by us directly.
There are three existed child resistant clamshell molds that were finished in 2020. All of them were child resistant certified. The child resistant mechanism applied Press & Lift style like the hinged child resistant tins, but the structure of clamshell will be compact. Unlike tin or paper material, there is a limit of times because of the soft material. Usually, child resistant clamshell box could be opened around 10 to 15 times that is enough for infused chocolate. The compact and stretching structure could ensure the airtight space when child proof clamshell box is closed. This child proof lock matched airtight condition could save more process and cost for infused chocolate packaging. Unlike paper or metal box, child resistant hinged clamshell box is shipped with opening style that could pack infused chocolate directly without opening clamshell process. The mylar bag will be cheaper, but it couldn’t protect infused chocolate well and packing process will be complex. Considering the frequency packaging law for infused items, non-printing version clamshell is not a disadvantage. Stickers could be pasted by us or in US. The faster delivery time(7-10 days) and lower MOQ(from 1000pcs) could save more customers who want to release their products faster with small quantity, so they could make the decision whether to increase their business.
Except for three existed child resistant clamshell for infused chocolate, we developed the other clamshell for pre-rolls that is CR certified. The size of clamshell could be customized and the shape could be changed also for different purpose like infused gummies, mints or joints.
